报告摘要：
The classical Brauer category plays a fundamental role in the representation theory of orthogonal and symplectic groups, providing a rigorous graphical calculus for their tensor representations. In this talk, we introduce its infinite-dimensional extension: the Affine Brauer Category.
We will begin by reviewing the construction of the classical Brauer category using string diagrams, before demonstrating how to extend this structure to the affine setting. This categorical framework provides a diagrammatic realization of the affine Brauer algebras, also known as Nazarov-Wenzl algebras.
The core of the presentation will focus on applications of the affine Brauer category. This talk is based on joint work with Mengmeng Gao, Linliang Song, and some previous work with Mei Si.

芮和兵，同济大学教授，国家杰出青年基金获得者。2011年获得上海市自然科学一等奖。多年来一直从事表示论、李理论方面的黑料吃瓜网，相关成果发表在Advances in Mathematics, Crelle’s Journal, Mathematische Zeitschrift, Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, Commentarii Mathematici Helvetici等国际著名数学学术杂志上。
