Abstract:
I will describe a canonical construction that produces Atiyah-Singer Dirac operators with both unitary and anti-unitary symmetries.
This includes a general construction for Real Dirac operators, which has been missing from the literature.
The construction is closely related to the notion of K-orientation for the K-theory of vector bundles with linear/anti-linear symmetries,
and the geometric realisation of the corresponding K-homology theory.
