Abstract:
In this talk, we will study the work of C. Drutu-P. Nowak on the generalized Kazhdan's property (T) and the
existence of Kazhdan projections in Banach spaces.
As an application, we will discuss the work of Y.C.Chung-P. Nowak
that Margulis type expanders provide counterexamples to the Lp-Coarse Baum-Connes Conjecture.
