An introduction to tracial topological rank of simple $C^*$-algebras

Abstract:
Tracial topological rank was introduced by Huaxin Lin in 2001, it is useful in the classification theory of C*-algebras. In this talk, I will introduce the basic definition and properties of tracial topological rank, I will also introduce some classification theorem.
